here I sit, staring right at my professor, wondering if she knows that I'm not paying attention in the least. I'm willing to bet she does. The more difficult question, however, is this: Does she really care? cause I've seen countless numbers of kids (and by countless I just mean several, not really countless) blatantly fall asleep in class. We're talkin arms sprawled out across the table, face down on the desk, hasn't moved in 15 mins blatant. And still, she just keeps talkin, so if she cares she doesn't show it therefore I assume she doesn't! Anyways, I'm gettin whoa excited cause the school year is coming to a close! I have two more weeks of classes and then finals week, so I only got about 17 days total before I get to head home for good! Lamoni, IA has been good to me, at least up until the last, oh, 3 months or so, and that was mostly my roommate's fault. It has served it's purpose, I needed to get away, and it provided that to me. It has also really helped me realize how much I did have back in Louisville, KY and make me appreciate it in all the ways that I didn't before. I'm transferring back to UofL next year, so I'm super pumped to get back home and see all of my friends that I haven't seen in a long ass time (I'm talkin geologically, so like um 20 million years or so). Plus my incredible synesthesiatic is coming to live with me for finals week and then make the 10 hour trip home with me. It's gonna be amazing, and wonderfully symbolic: the travel home with her, starting anew when I get there, and the first step in a long journey that she and I will happily traverse together...
